Dayverson de Barros and Berrahri won the Longines Grand Prix of the White Turf St. Moritz second race day
On 11 February Longines timed the victory of Dayverson de Barros on Berrahri at the Longines Grand Prix during the second Sunday of the White Turf St. Moritz, for which the watchmaker has the honor of being the Official Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch. The Grand Prix Longines is a preparatory race for the Longines 79. Grosser Preis von St. Moritz to be held on 18th February.
Since 1907, the annual White Turf St. Moritz event takes place on the frozen lake of the Graubünden renowned tourist resort during three Sundays in February. Attracting more than 30,000 visitors yearly, it is considered as the sporting and social highlight in the Engadine winter calendar. This year, the event celebrates its 111st anniversary and takes place on February 4, 11 and 18.
The Official Watch of the event is the Conquest V.H.P. (Very High Precision). This 41mm silvered timepiece displays a perpetual calendar and can rely on a very long battery life.
