Successfully defending the title won by his wife Jonelle last year, Tim Pize (NZL) won the Longines CCI5*-L with Ascona M in a nail-biting finish. Tom McEwen (GBR) with Figaro van het Broekxhof and Alex Bragg (GBR) with Zagreb finished second and third respectively.

The highlight trial of the event, Longines Grand Prix Großer Preis der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden, was claimed by Chloe Reid on Luis P, followed by Charlotte Bettendorf on Hope Street and Lucas Porter on C Hunter.
