Tapwrit crossed first the finishing line at Belmont Stakes
On 10 June 2017, the 2017 edition of the Triple Crown series, of which Longines is the Official Timekeeper and Watch, concluded with the victory of Tapwrit at the 149th Belmont Stakes. Tapwrit’s owner, trainer and jockey (Jose L. Ortiz) were presented with elegant Longines timepieces to honour their victory. On the same day, the watchmaker presented the Longines Just a Game race and also granted watches to winning horse Antonoe’s owner, trainer and jockey.
Known as the brand of Elegance, Longines hosted the Longines Most Elegant Woman at Belmont fashion contest to celebrate style and glamour associated with the Triple Crown. The most stylish female racegoer at Belmont Park received a lady model of the Conquest Classic collection.
